The Managed Care Consumer Assistance Program MCCAP is here at NMPP to assist anyone living in the 5 boroughs of NYC with information, advice, technical assistance, and advocacy as it relates to health insurance or accessing the health care they need. We assist individuals with a range of issues such as applying for public health insurance or choosing a doctor, to billing questions, appeals, and fair hearings.

Our help is not limited to public insurance. MCCAP provides workshops for the general community and staff at various organizations on various topics including Eligibility and Recertification for Medicaid & Family Health Plus and Consumer Rights. MCCAP is funded through Community Service Society (CSS) by the City Council. We are located at NMPP’S main office at 127 West 127th Street on the 3rd floor.
